Photography was always my passion and my dream job. It’s even difficult for me to call it a job, as I consider my profession as a hobby of my life. Meeting new people, catching their mood, being part of the happiest momentы of their life — isn’t it a dream?
Before every photoshoot I usually receive a lot of questions from my girls and couples. So I decided to gather all the tips I find usefull and I hope this information will help you and make our photoshoot more calm and comfortable.
A portrait is successful when I know I’ve captured the person not thinking about having their photo taken. But instead, photographing those brief moments in-between when you see someone’s natural essence beyond the self-conscious.
Time and Location
We’ll have a meeting to discuss all the details about your wedding, you dreams and wishes. I’ll send you out a brief questionnaire about wedding venue, guests and schedule. All this information is very helpful for me and everything will go smoothly on day X.
Timing
We will confirm everything we discussed month ago, I need to make sure that there are no signficant changes. We will confirm time and place where we will meet on the wedding day.
What to Wear?
It is important that you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. Anyway, plain colors work better than patterns. Your outfits don’t need to be similar, just to work well and complement each other. It’s also better to choose a comfortable pair of shoes, in which you can comfortably walk for an hour.
What to Bring?
Do not bring too much staff with you. Everything I need for the pictures is you and your partner.
Hair and Makeup
Professional hair style and makeup is nice to have but it is not mandatory. No makeup can work as well, it is more important that you feel natural and comfortable during the shoot.

How long does the shoot take?
Allow for up to an hour. The shoot may not
take this long, it will depend on what style
of image you're after.
What if I'd like more photos than the
package allows?
Great, you can either purchase more from
the shoot at an additional cost, or we can
have a chat at the start about a more
comprehensive shoot that will suit your
vision.
Is there hair and makeup included?
These extras are not included in the shoot.
If this is something you'd like then I can
suggest some HAMU artists, however, it's
easiest for you to coordinate this directly
with them for the shoot.
Where will the shoot happen?
This will be up to you and the look you are
after for your portrait. We can use
anything from a studio situation, to a cafe
or outdoors. We will talk this through
before the day of the shoot.
Are the images edited?
Yes, all the images will be edited. I will
send you an initial selection so you can
choose the ones you love the most, then I'll
edit them up so you look your best.
Turn around time?
Allow 2 weeks for your photos to be edited
and delivered to you.
How are the images delivered?
You will receive a link to an online gallery
where you can download them at 2
different file sizes for printing and online
use.
Meet for coffee?
If you'd like to catch up and chat, then let's
lock in a time. It's so important for me to
understand your brand before the shoot
so that we get the style right for your
business and marketing needs.
But if you don't have time to meet up, no
stress. We can organise everything via
email or over the phone.
